HOW DO HORSE APPRAISALS WORK?

FOUR KEY STEPS

STEP 1

Our appraisal process begins with clients completing our online form, which helps us create a detailed profile for each horse. This "biography" includes key information such as pedigree, performance history, medical records, and other essential details to ensure a thorough and accurate valuation.

STEP 2

Clients submit essential materials such as high-quality videos, clear photographs, veterinary records, competition results, sales history, and any other relevant documentation. These materials provide critical insights into the horse’s conformation, movement, training level, health, and performance, ensuring a thorough, well-supported, and accurate appraisal.

STEP 3

PPH conducts comprehensive market research, evaluating key factors such as pedigree, competition history, age, training level, breed characteristics, and current market demand. By comparing similar horses in the industry and considering economic trends, we ensure a precise, fair, and well-supported valuation tailored to your horse’s unique attributes.

STEP 4

A comprehensive 10-15 page report is prepared that thoroughly evaluates and substantiates your horse’s Fair Market Value. Recognized for thoroughness and attention to detail, these appraisals are considered qualified for legal purposes, ensuring credibility and accuracy in a wide range of legal and financial matters.
